Directive (EU) 2026/470, Article 4(9)
Last resort for an actual impact
What is the requirement, in plain English?
The parallel rule for an actual adverse impact: where it was not ended or minimised, the company avoids new or extended relationships with the relevant partner, suspends the relationship where the governing law allows, and adopts an enhanced corrective action plan without undue delay. The same suspension assessment and the same protection from penalties and liability while the plan is expected to succeed apply.
What evidence does a regulator or an auditor ask for?
The enhanced corrective action plan, the suspension assessment, and the record of any report to the supervisory authority.

How do I check a draft against this provision?
Paste your draft into the reading. The reading returns, per provision, whether a phrase specific to this requirement appears in your own words, quoted, with the article cited here. Where a line reaches nothing it reads no mapping identified.
Not legal advice; does not certify. Every field on this page carries its own source pointer, and the record is replayed by the pages, the check and the export from one reviewed record.
