Directive (EU) 2026/470, Article 3(1)
The phased start dates and the de-scoping option
What is the requirement, in plain English?
The phase-in provision is rewritten. For financial years that begin between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2026, point (a) catches undertakings above EUR 450 000 000 net turnover and above 1 000 employees on average, and point (b) catches issuers above the same two tests; point (c) is removed.
